Cotillo low wind closeout evening session

The last weeks we had some awesome surfing and also some great northshore wavesailing days!! But unfurtunately no pics available...

Today the weather forecast was giving 19 knts N wind and this direction normally means eastcoast action...but it is also possible to sail Cotillo with the wind touching the waves side-sideon! The wave forcast was 1,4m 12s...
I had a check and it looked okay and so I went fast home to eat something and get some energie. When I came back the already light wind dropped a little bit more and the wave size increased...hmmmm... but I didnt want to drive anymore this day and so I rigged here...

....the waves were breaking now fast and hollow kind of bigger beachbreak close out style...

It was tricky in the ocean...the wind was light and gusty and the tide was falling too, making the waves more agressive! I decided to sail save and not breaking any mast or stuff...what on this days is quite easy...I had luck!

And at the end I had some extra luck because Sarah came some time later directly from work  to the beach and took some pics of todays conditions which I can  post now! Cool and Thx!!
