"Bristol session" back in April!!

This time, some wavesailing pics of "Bristol"(Shooting Gallery) on the northshore of Fuerteventura near Corralejo! Nice spot, but the entrance and the exit are quite tricky since everywhere are just sharp lavarocks! Plus the conditions are rare to get and when its working another superwave is also "on"! And if there are sharks around Fuerte I could imagine that they are chilling right there and losing your stuff outside on a big set would give you a nice long thrilled swim in!! Never let go your gear!!
I also repost a little video they made of us that day! Unfortunately for me, my biggest wave is not on tape...you can just see me starting in a big one "behind" the last wave filmed...!! But anyway BIG THX to the filmer!!

"La caletta session" back in april!!

At the moment the ocean around Fuerte is quite flat and the wind is so "lala" and I want to use this occasion to post some pics of "La caletta" that were made back in the wavy april of this year! I didnt  post this session because there were a lot of things and good conditions going on and than I just forgot it...
This day in La caletta I was on my 3,7 and the SW was blowing heavy!! On the waves I was often overpowered, which Im surely missing now!!
Summertime is nice, but Im already looking forward to autumn were hopefully the magic starts again and the atlantic shows us waveriders his second, for me nicer, face again!!! But I dont want to complain...until now there were some good sessions on the eastcoast and hopefully some more to come!!! But when the northshore and the westcoast are working, its a different story... then some adrenalin rushes in!!

Eastcoast oceantime

Here in Fuerte summertime means tradewind time and this means NE-passat! NE-winds bring nice waves to our eastcoast but it means also onshore! In case the wind turns from NE to N or NW this means "Happy Hour" for our -down-the-line- community!!
This tuesday the wind was quite strong :)!! but gusty and turning from sidesideoff to sidesideon. However all riders had a great time in the lineup... Happy Faces everywhere and some good action!!!
I was training some aerials and some gu screws (slightly overpowered on my beloved 4,5 Firelight) and had a really great time with friends on the water!!! writing this... I want to be back in the ocean... but for a moment the wind chills now and the hands and feet can have a relax!!
